We are excited to announce that we are looking for a new board member to join the Together Estranged community.  This person would join the organisation as a Board Member, and would work directly with the CEO on a special project to grow the Board and solidify our base of volunteers. A background in people management and/or recruitment would be essential, as would be the time to lead the process.

Over the next few months, Together Estranged will be providing opportunities for folks to sign up and receive therapy sessions - a much needed resource that will aid in mental health and wellbeing.

Seth Forbes, the esteemed Founder and Executive Director, will be stepping down from her role to pursue personal endeavors, focusing on family, health, and career. 

In late 2023, on the Business of Non-Profit podcast, listen to a thought-provoking episode with our founder Seth talking with Stacy Lund. They explores our ambitious short-term goal of transitioning from an online support system to fostering genuine in-person connections. 

Over the next few months, Together Estranged will be providing opportunities for folks to sign up and receive therapy sessions - a much needed resource that will aid in mental health and wellbeing.

Over 1 million attendees participated in the Pride Festival in 2023, and Together Estranged had a booth set up with information and goodies.

Grant funding will go towards quality of life programming, such as for online support groups.

The 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization will be partnering with the Sexual Assault Response Prevention Team (SARP) and the Queer Activist Collective at BU to provide semester-long in-person support programming for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC undergraduate and graduate students who are estranged from family members

Amount awarded will go towards the organization's programming and operational expenses, which include advertising, web hosting, administrative responsibilities and other crucial costs

In early 2022, TE's Executive Director, Seth Forbes, was invited to speak as an estrangement expert at the 2022 Moving Beyond Family Struggles Summit hosted by the Center for Family Understanding.
