Research Partner Studies

Adler University
Investigator: R. Kowalski

The purpose of this study is to better understand the ways grief manifests in young adults navigating parental estrangement.

No identifying information regarding participants will be included in the research report or in any publication thereafter. It is hoped that this study will contribute to a framework as to how mental health clinicians can best support the wellbeing of estranged individuals.

Those who choose to participate in the study may find benefit in reflecting and speaking about their experiences of estrangement, which are often stigmatized.
