About the event
Holding Yourself Through Mother’s Day is a gentle, trauma-aware workshop for estranged adult children navigating the emotional complexity of a holiday that can bring up grief, anger, longing, relief, numbness, or all of the above. Centered on the theme of reparenting the inner child, this 90 minute session will offer a grounded space to explore what it means to meet yourself with steadiness, honesty, and care on a day that can feel especially tender.
Through a blend of gentle movement, reflective journaling, practical reparenting strategies, and interactive participation, participants will be invited to consider how to soothe what is activated, validate what is true, and protect themselves with intention. The workshop will also include supportive tools for navigating Mother’s Day online, recognizing that social media can be particularly challenging on days filled with public expressions of love and celebration.
Participants will receive two companion PDFs: one featuring somatic practices, breathwork…
